Imperfection Dress
The Imperfection Dress has an unfinished look with outseams. If you look closely at Serra's work, you'll see that he sometimes uses rusted iron plates as they are. To incorporate that imperfect feeling into the dress, and to intentionally create an unfinished look, we've left the outseams and basting stitches as they are. The belt at the back can be adjusted to create shape and change the silhouette. The fabric is a pin-stripe made from poplin yarn woven with polyester and wool. Although it's a lightweight material, the twisted yarn gives it firmness and body, allowing it to hold its shape while still being light. The pin-stripe pitch is neither too wide nor too narrow, making it suitable for both formal and casual occasions.
