Alpaca Shaggy Tapered Shorts
These are tapered shorts with a narrow silhouette, yet a slightly longer inseam. For this season's SATORU SASAKI bottoms, we first considered how to incorporate a narrow silhouette as a new challenge. We focused on a silhouette that isn't tight thanks to the single tuck, and balanced it with an inseam that falls slightly below the knee. The material is wool yarn-dyed doeskin. It is a product from BALLI, a company based in "Prato, Italy," one of the world's leading textile production areas.
TOP yarns with mixed colors are woven in a herringbone pattern and then given a shaggy nap, which allows the TOP yarns and the weave to blend seamlessly, resulting in an elegant fabric.
