Wool Doeskin Painter Trousers
SATORU SASAKI's classic painter trousers. Sasaki, who admired painters, designed these trousers by incorporating the style of painter's trousers into his own everyday slacks. The material is wool yarn-dyed doeskin. By applying a special process that finishes it with a doeskin weave, it features a glossy sheen and a smooth texture with a fine, dense weave and no pilling. Doeskin is a high-grade woolen fabric derived from "doe's skin." It is a densely woven fabric using worsted yarn in a satin weave, then subjected to fulling, napping, shearing, and brushing (doeskin finish).
